Salamander

New housing project ‘Salamander’ is situated at one of the most beautiful spots of Veenendaal. People talked about this development for decades, and everyone wanted to live ‘here’, until the time was finally there and the housing market collapsed. Only some houses were sold and built and the plan became more and more negative, until Ingenious took the initiative in 2016 to take over the project. Considering its size, 76 ground oriented houses in the middle segment and the expense segment, we decided to cooperate with ‘Van Wanrooij projectontwikkeling’.

A swift redevelopment led to a more comfortable and consumer-oriented design of the houses and all houses were sold in the two phases that followed. The plan consists of 26 terraced houses and corner houses, 46 semi-detached houses and 4 detached houses. They are all built on spacious plots and they were designed under architecture.
